Nuno’s short Bio
Current held position:
Since March 2008 I am a Research Fellow at the Department of Information Systems at University of Minho and I am involved in projects mostly concerning with the design and development of situated displays and human-robot interactions to support collaboration in everyday tasks.
Previously held positions and work activities:
From September 2005 to February 2008: Research Fellow at the Adaptive System Research Group, Science and Technology Research Institute, University of Hertfordshire.
From 2003 to September 2005: Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Intelligent Agents and Synthetic Characters Research Group (Grupo de Agentes Inteligentes e Personagens Sintécticos – GAIPS), Instituto Nacional de Engenharia de Sistemas e Computadores (INESC-ID), Portugal.
From February 2004 to September 2005: Visiting Research Fellow at the Interact Lab, School of Informatics, University of Sussex.
From September 1997 to October 2002: Enrolled on a Research Degree Programme that led to the obtaining of the Doctor of Philosophy degree at the University of Sussex.
1997: Teaching Assistant for the Bachelors course in Organisational Psychology, Higher Institute of Economics and Management, Technical University of Lisbon, Portugal.
1996: worked as an HCI consultant at a software firm, Desafio Total Lda, Portugal.
